All clients have an initial consultation which lasts around 1.5 hours. This involves taking a full case history and discussing the main reasons for the visit. You may come with a specific problem in mind, or a list on ongoing concerns so we will discuss them all and then muscle test to identify the priorities for treatment.
At the end of the session, we will discuss the details, any recommendations for self help ‘homework’ (nutritional supplements, Bach flower remedies, affirmations) and establish the need for further appointments.
A follow up appointment is usually around an hour and we start with a check-in on progress from the previous session, discussing how you felt afterwards, how any self-help homework is doing and an update on how you are feeling. Many clients report that sessions are informative, relaxing and positive and it’s always great to check-in and notice the effects.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
As a rough indicator, 4-6 sessions are usually helpful for you to get you to a much better place with your health. For most people, 2-3 sessions are generally required to break through the body’s initial imbalances and allow us to dig deeper to the more hidden issues. The amount of sessions required depends on the individual and how long the problem and symptom has been apparent for and we will discuss this on an individual basis during each appointment. Most people find it beneficial to have monthly or quarterley sessions as a preventative measure to keep you in balance.
Food Sensitivity Testing
Appointments can be made solely for testing food sensitivities. When booking the appointment, we will discuss which foods you would like tested and I’ll advise which ones to bring (I have some available as a test kit).
These appointments are solely for food testing and no other balances or problems will be addressed. I can offer these after you have had an initial or follow up appointment to ensure the results are taken in context of your overall state of health.
